Cavallino #274

We open in Modena, birthplace of Enzo Ferrari, where the sixth Cavallino Classic gathered thirty-eight Ferraris, among them some of the rarest and most refined examples ever built, alongside the fine dinners and good company that make this young event unforgettable.
Our cover car is a 1967 330 GTC, s/n 10579: delivered new in Nevada, showing just 19,000 miles, and still wearing its original paint and leather. Best of all, it's still lovingly driven by the enthusiast who preserves it. Inside, we also test the Ferrari Pinin, the four-door show car made drivable years later with help from the legendary Mauro Forghieri, and we sit down with Diego Ottina, the stylist behind both the Pinin and the Testarossa.
Elsewhere, a 575M Maranello circles America (14,000 miles, all 48 continental states) proving once again that Ferraris are made to be driven. Racer Ed Swart shares stories of the 250 SWB, the 512 BB LM, and friendships with Villeneuve and Scheckter. And don't miss the wonderfully "pimped" GM-restyled 1972 Daytona, s/n 14777.
Plus our Corsa race roundup, editorial voices, and the specialist-compiled Ferrari market values. Enjoy the issue!
