Ferraris Delight at the 22nd Greenwich Concours

The 22nd Greenwich Concours on June 3 & 4 was again recognized as one of the premier Concours in the country, and what is unique about the Greenwich show is that it is actually two Concours back to back. Saturday is the Concours Americana for American cars and motorcycles, while Sunday is the Concours International for imported marques.

Saturday featured a circle of supercars, both American and foreign. There was also the first ever Hot Rod Class and a very successful display of children’s cars. Saturday’s ticket also allowed visitors to preview all the cars in the Bonhams auction tent. At 11:30 am, there was a special presentation on hot rods and custom cars by Wayne Carini, Ken Gross, Rick Dore and Rob Ida. On Saturday night, there was the gala party at the Greenwich Delamar Hotel, with a sumptuous buffet and luxurious yachts nearby.

On Sunday, the Greenwich Concours welcomed the American Bugatti Club, with more than 20 Bugattis on view at the show. Sunday also featured race cars from the Lime Rock Historic Festival. The Bonhams auction began at noon and requiresd a separate admission – or you could watch through the open side of the tent.

On both days, there were displays of new cars including BMW, Cadillac, Lincoln, Tesla, Jaguar, Land Rover, plus all the goodies from Miller Motorcars – Ferrari, Bugatti, Pagani, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, McLaren, Bentley and Maserati. Also there was Manhattan Motorcars with Lamborghini, Rimac and Koenigsegg. There were even opportunities to test drive some of these amazing new vehicles. There were also some incredible yachts from Castaways Yacht Sales, Louis Marine, Comitti and Destino, all displayed at the Delamar Hotel docks nearby.

For the first time, there were a limited number of VIP tickets which included early entry to the Concours, breakfast and lunch with the car owners and judges, access to the VIP lounge and patio at the Delamar Hotel, entrance to the Bonhams Cocktail Reception on Friday night, lapel pin, poster and a VIP lanyard!

There were also abundant classes of classic and exotic cars on both days, with the Ferrari class prominent on the Sunday, with some of the best GT models of the marque.
