Ferrari in the Movies & TV at the Musée Matra

The Matra Museum for its 2015 exposition has chosen cinema as the unifying theme, and the exhibition is based on the book “Ferrari in Movies” by the noted expert of Ferrari in movies, Philippe Ramlot. It runs from April 17 to November 15, 2015. It is also about Ferraris in both movies and TV and there is a long tradition for this, for example, the 308 GTS made famous by Tom Selleck in Magnum PI and the Dino 246 driven by Tony Curtis in The Persuaders. Television has helped to make these two beauties from Maranello famous worldwide. The new Enzo Ferrari Museum (MEF) was opened today in Modena by Luca di Montezemolo and Piero Ferrari, the son of the man who started off the amazing story of a marque recognised today as the strongest in the world. The Enzo Ferrari Museum (MEF) will reopen, February 18. Displaying its new focus which is aimed at celebrating Enzo Ferrari and the values of the Modena area. The renovations have begun with the main wing, which has been transformed into a kind of “time machine” where it is possible to relive nearly 100 years of history, progress, racing, extraordinary cars and passion.
