So Close for the AIM Motorsport Ferrari

The AIM Motorsport Ferrari 458 Italia number 555, came so close, finishing second in the 62nd Sebring 12 Hours in the GT-D class. The car, driven by the winners of the Daytona 24 Hours, Townsend Bell, Jeff Segal and Bill Sweedler, this time joined by Maurizio Mediani, finished just 1.864 down on the Magnus Racing Porsche driven by John Potter, Andy Lally and Marco Seefried after a race-long duel. The other Ferraris did less well: 13th place for the number 51 car entered by Spirit of the Race in the hands of Matt Griffin, Jack Gerber, Marco Cioci and Michele Rugolo, which finished ahead of its sister car number, crewed by Gianluca Roda, Paolo Ruberti and Mirko Venturi.
