This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)

…or something like this:

The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

WEC: Spa-Francorchamps Results

Despite hopes that the WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps would prove an exhilarating Saturday for the Ferraris in the GTE-Pro class, it turned out to be an extremely frustrating day as a series of external factors impacted severely on the performances of both cars and drivers alike. Davide Rigon and James Calado in the no. 71 Ferrari were involved in a mid-race collision, while “Gimmi” Bruni and Toni Vilander’s no. 51 paid dearly for a pit-stop problem that turned into a disastrous penalty that sent the reigning world champions to fourth place...

Ferrari One-Two at Vallelunga

The 2015 Italian GT Championship got off to a Ferrari-dominated start today as the Prancing Horse clients took a one-two in Race 1 at Vallelunga, with Matteo Beretta in the Ombra 458 Italia GT3 flying across the finish-line ahead of Nicola Schirò and Giovanni Berton in a Scuderia Villorba Corse car. The race. Having taken pole, Frassineti did a brilliant job of rebutting the attacks of his rivals and getting ahead just before the first corner. The Lazio driver was, of course, competing on his home circuit. He had an advantage over Nicola...

Ferraris Looking to Repeat History at Laguna Seca

This weekend’s IMSA United SportsCar Championship race at the famed Laguna Seca circuit in Salinas, Calif. will see two examples of the Ferrari 458 Italia battle for class victory on a circuit where Ferraris have been victorious since the gates were opened. A Ferrari 500 TRC driven by Pete Lovely won the first race held at Laguna Seca in September of 1957, and the Ferrari 458 Italias of Risi Competizione and Scuderia Corsa will look to continue in the tradition of that 500 TRC. The no. 62 Risi Competizione Ferrari 458 Italia of Giancarlo...

The Lancia D50

This marvelous overhead photograph clearly shows the layout of the new Lancia D50 Grand Prix car at its inaugural race appearance at the Spanish Grand Prix, the last race of the season, held on the Pedralbes city circuit in Barcelona on October 24, 1954. The 1954 Spanish Grand Prix is sometimes confused with the Penya Rhin Grand Prix which was then a non-championship race for sports cars, held the day before on the Pedralbes course. The D50 was a truly ground-breaking design. In many ways its innovations rivaled those of the Mercedes-Benz...

International GT Open: Race 2

AF Corse #51 Ferrari stroke back today in Race 2 at the Ricard, taking a beautiful win with Michele Rugolo and Pasin Lathouras. The Italian and the Thai put a perfect performance to beat the Teo Martín Motorsport McLaren of Alvaro Parente and Miguel Ramos, second like yesterday. The two line-ups are now tied up at the top of the championship standings, with 36 points. AF Corse put a second car on the podium as Ezequiel Pérez-Companc and Raffaele Giammaria took third (on the #90 AF Corse entry), a nice reward after a bad start of the weekend....

Italian Hillclimb Championship

The weekend just gone brought the 61st  Coppa Nissena, the second round of the Italian Hillclimb Championship which spanned two 5,450-metre races held on the outskirts of Caltanissetta. Incredibly hard-fought and spectacular across the groupings and classes, the event was organised by the Automobile Club Caltanissetta and attracted an unusually large influx of spectators for all three days of its duration. Two victories in two races. In the GT category, Padua driver Roberto Ragazzi reasserted his Italian leadership with a double victory in...

VdeV: Ferrari One-Two at Mugello

Ferrari has dominated the 4-hour GT/Touring Endurance Race at the Autodromo del Mugello in no uncertain terms. Held as part of the VdeV Endurance series, the race results exactly mirrored qualifying. Visiom’s 458 Italia (driven by Pagny-Perrier-Bouvet) took pole and then, after a good four hours on the track, victory, crossing the finish-line ahead of another 458 Italia, AFCorse’s no. 58 (Cordoni-Zanuttini-Montermini). The two Italian cars were the only ones to negotiate the 122-plus turns on the highly technical Tuscan track. In the end, car...
