FERRARI CLASSIC RETURNS TO PALM BEACH, FLORIDA AT THE BREAKERS HOTEL, MAR-A-LAGO, AND MOROSO MOTORSPORTS PARK

For Immediate Release - 4-01-03

The 13th Annual Palm Beach Cavallino Classic will be presented in Palm Beach, Florida at The Breakers Hotel, on January 20-25, 2004.

This meeting is a six day convention for Ferrari owners and enthusiasts, with participants and their Ferraris attending from the U.S., Europe, Canada, Mexico, and Japan.

Benefiting from the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic are two important charities, the Childrens Wish Foundation, and the American Council of the Blind.

The first major event is the Florida Trophy, a two day track meet at Moroso Motorsports Park on Thursday and Friday, January 22 & 23. Over 100 competition Ferraris revive memories of days gone by, as their owners let them loose again in a race course setting.

The second event is the Tour of Palm Beach, on Thursday, January 22. Up to 80 vintage and classic Ferraris tour through Palm Beach and along the Atlantic coastal roads. They leave from The Breakers and make stops at The Ritz-Carlton, The Chesterfield, and Mar-a-Lago.

The highpoint of the weekend is the Concorso d’Eleganza on the front lawn of The Breakers on Saturday, January 24, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. 150 beautiful Ferrari automobiles compete for Class Awards, and 12 Major Cups, along with The Cavallino Cup for Best in Show.

The week is capped with a special Sunday program at the legendary historic Palm Beach mansion, Mar-a-Lago, on January 25. Included is a display of the finest Ferraris from the weekend, with a charity brunch and the presentation of The Palm Beach Cup.

Also at the Classic will be the latest models of Ferraris, including the exciting new Challenge Stradale, the Enzo, the 575M Maranello, the 550 Barchetta, the 360 Spider, Modena, and GT.

The evenings are host to several receptions, including the Jet Reception and the Yacht Hop, and the Awards Dinners at The Breakers.
