Elegant 212 Europa PF Coupe at Bonhams

This small gem, s/n 0277 EU, has a modest history, but also an unrivalled one, in that it has known ownership, matching chassis and engine, and is certified by Ferrari Classiche.

It was the 12th of 17 212 Europas built, and was sent from Maranello in December, 1952 to Pinin Farina in Torino for its restrained and understated body. By July of 1953, the finished Grand Tourer in Blue Francese with Blu leather inside, was sold to its first owner, Ducros di Ales of France.

By the 1970s the car was in the collection of Charles Pozzi, the official Ferrari importer living in Levallois-Perret (Paris), France. In 1988, s/n 0277 EU was entered in the Mille Miglia Historica.

This still very original car was sold to Belgian collector Philippe Lancksweert and he entered in the Tour Auto in April of 2006.

Its restoration was completed last year, and s/n 0277 EU and it also received its Ferrari Classiche Certificazione di autenticità.
