Ferrari at the Heart of Goodwood
This weekend will see Ferrari at the heart of one of the most eagerly-awaited motor racing events of the year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The enthusiasts and spectators at Goodwood will be treated to the sight of Maranello’s newest cars, including the new V8 turbo California T, the 458 Speciale powered by the naturally-aspirated V8 just named Best Performance Engine 2014, and the F12berlinetta, which recently won the prestigious ADI Compasso d’Oro design prize.
Ferrari’s road cars aside, there will also be plenty of action from the Scuderia Ferrari’s single-seaters and their drivers. Pedro de la Rosa, in fact, will be negotiating Goodwood’s famous hillclimb in the F60, while Kimi Räikkönen is the special guest at the celebrations for the 50th anniversary celebrations of John Surtees’ F1 World title organised by Shell for Sunday, 29th. The two drivers will be at the wheels of the cars in which they won their World Championships: Surtees will be driving the 1964 158 F1 and Kimi his F2007.
