They All Started on the Drawing Board
Some Ferrari memorabilia never shows up on the market at all, like original Ferrari or Pininfarina design drawings, but sometime copies do, in the form of elegant and fragile blueprints. However, they do not show up on the market very often and they are very scarce. Popping up on the market recently was a very nice collection of Ferrari–themed blueprints from the late 1950s and early to mid 1960s. They were all produced by the factory or the Pininfarina Studio, and include a 250 coupe, 250 2+2, 275 GTC, 400 SA, 365 GTC, 365 GT 2+2, 246 GT and more. The collection also includes some of the competition cars, such as the 250 TDF, 206 Dino, 250 LM and others. Most of the blueprints are 1/5 and 1/10 scale.
